Good to hear people are hanging in there. I am 8 hours away from a 14 hour day working the voting tables.

My checklist-
-Regular mask under mask my RN wife made from templates provided by her employer
-Gloves (I hopefully know proper glove technique, including removal)
-Baseball cap
-Glasses
-Hand Sanitizer
-Lysol Spray

Am I missing anything?
Bug bomb/fogger, Jack Daniels, etc?

Bring a garbage bag to put all that stuff into if you're going to take it home with you. Toss it all in, tie it up, and leave in the garage for a while.

Would be too much to bring a bunch of SCUBA gear and just breathe on a regulator the whole time? :)

Good luck!

1. I'm an industrial electrician in printing. I have no idea how we are considered essential while printing junk mail yet here I sit at work tonight. Many employees have been furloughed and it looks like my department is rotating furloughs on 2 week intervals. As I am the ranking shift electrician I will be the last to be furloughed sometime in late May. However I will be rotating back to days for the first time in 4 years so I'll probably volunteer to be off once I'm back on days and it's easier to cover my shifts.

2. Lots and lots of drugs. Especially LSD. Take a hit and walk through the forest with the Native American burial mounds in Waterloo. It's beautiful and peaceful. Also been uploading all the concert footage I've collected in the last few years. YouTube channel is Ken Kulig. Like and subscribe.

3. Tough one...Probably Tron or Deadpool or Walking Dead or Metallica or Iron Maiden or... I miss pinball!

4. 12 pack that I stole from Jen at my place so that will probably last a year since I'm hardly there. Jen went frenzy mode and has enough for a long time so if I run out I'll just steal more from her.

Stay healthy and safe! Can't wait to see you guys and girls again!

I call dibs on Sinbad and NBAFB........To Soon?

What Chris said but the same with your cloths as well. Then wipe down the car.

Politics aside I think it’s stupid they are holding this today. No reason for it.

Be safe Tim and update us on how it all goes. Do you get the big plastic shield between you and the customers I have seen at the Lowes here in town. It’s like going to the Kwik-E Mart late at night.

It's tough not to get political. I won't rant too much except to say that some people want their political power so much that they're willing to get people killed to do so. And lest anyone think "won't affect me", every new infection pushes this situation out another two weeks, and creates another potential link that leads back to them. The guy that got infected today might be the guy that coughed on the gas pump or Amazon package next week. The gas pump that I touch, and then later infect my children with.

The politicians involved in this are despicable, and the situation should give everyone a clear view just how happy they are kill you and your family to get what they want.

I know there's a spread of political opinions here, and I normally avoid such topics, but this situation should make us all ashamed of ourselves.

That's enough politics for me!

Back to pinball, I have a hardtop waiting for my Future Spa, and the weather is starting to look pretty good to sand the sucker down and start the install. I'll take pics when I start.... I'm procrastinating cause it's a lot easier to just stick the Oculus on my face right now for the hour or two of energy at the end of the day!

Not too soon on dibs, that one made me laugh....

Just got home. Started at 6:30am... Long day. Our DPW workers made shields for all workstations, so that was nice. Everyone coming to vote was very understanding and appreciative. A lot of voters apologized to the workers, which I have never seen before.

While I didn't have the full hospital depriving PPE gear our highly regarded and rational Speaker had, I did try my best to stay upright.

One of these things is not like the other... Lol

That’s cool they supplied you with a plastic shield. That probably helped quite a bit. Sounds like people were well-behaved. I haven’t checked the news, I hope that was true around the State.

I’ll leave a link to prove that we’re all holding up pretty well during quarantine. I don’t know that anyone here is quite this stir crazy yet!

We are a college town... The only thing that was a little eye opening was the waves of groups of students that thought social distancing was 6" and not 6'.

There are neighborhood kids that didn't get the memo around here, too. One kid was riding around on her bike handing rocks to other kids.

People generally seem to be pretty good, but every once in a while someone just wanders right up to you. Maybe that's the best reason to wear a mask.... people might think you're infected and respect distancing.

1. I'm still working. I can do practically 100% of my job from home, and I have a pretty nice setup, so that transition has been easy for me. This is a busy time of year for me, so work has taken up a lot of my time, but I'm feeling fortunate to have something this flexible and secure. My wife is a CPA, so she's also working from home and getting inundated with questions from clients about the assistances available.

2. Other than work I've been working on some house projects that I'd been putting off forever. I fixed the ice maker on my fridge, I'm finishing out a speaker build, working on the basement restore from the flood, etc etc etc. I'm also playing some video games when I can find the time. My daughter and I started playing Stardew Valley together and that's been really fun. I do my best not to stress about our crop yield... but it's tough.

3. That's tough.. maybe XM or SW? Or maybe Pinbot so I'd have someone to talk to.

4. I think we're good now, but it was frustratingly dicey for a little while. I have a bidet, so I feel like this is pretty low on my list of concerns.

I joke that this whole social distancing mandate aligns perfectly with my new years resolution, so this really hasn't been too painful for me so far (other than some canceled trips and such - small apples, really). I really hope people listen to scientists and medical professionals in determining when it's safe to resume their normal routines. My worry is the politicians are too eager to get the wheels turning again, and it's going to result in another spike, and it might be tough to get people to buy-in to another 'safe at home' style period.

1. No work for me. Furloughed and filing for unemployment atm. Which is something I thought I would never ever do. Wife works for the schools as a speech pathologist and PRN at UW-Hospital once a week. She is essential obviously. I am definitely essential to watching my 1 year old though :)

2. Not much else to do with the baby around. trying to practice guitar and play a video game or 2 when I have time.

3. desert island machine would be TWD probably.

4. Bought toilet paper months ago and laughed at people buying rolls of 30-60. food is more important. We have a diaper sprayer attached to our toilet and it could be a bidet in a pinch

5. I don't own any machines and pinball is non-existent for me. Hoping to get back to playing before too long, but we will see. Unless a treatment that comes out at a 90+ success rate or a vaccine, it's going to be a lot of gloves and masks for the next year as this thing runs its course and hopefully burns itself out.

Keep holding in there everyone!

1. I am still working, have been remote from home for i think 3 weeks but it might be the 4th week. I am a production manager at a marketing place... we are definitely slowing down with the drums of layoffs in the horizon so things are less than optimal. but still working so lucky me. My wife is a pharmacy tech so she is full on front line.

2. Animal crossing and just got Beatles gold so i am set.... that and binging rick and morty/forged in fire

3. Attack from mars or Simpsons Pinball Party

4. we are good on TP for a pretty good amount of time.

1. Still working. Essential industry supporting construction. Material supplies and related support of engineering materials etc. Work load seems to be close to normal but I would think things may slow down and work hours could be reduced if things slow down. Could still be working off the inertia of spring builds, etc that were in progress before Covid-19 took hold in early March. Other stuff in quoting stage but that might slow down too as weeks pass. Staying optimistic about work but a downturn is a real possibility. I do go in to work but my office is more or less isolated from others and I observe social distancing and other protocols passing in and out of the building, use of restroom etc. Sure wash hands a lot and use hand sanitizer after using office equipment not directly under my own control.

2. When not working - staying home is going pretty well. Surprisingly not playing much pinball. Trying to get out in the yard and take walks etc. Looking forward to mowing the grass this year which is odd ! I have been calling and checking on friends. Concerned about others and how they are doing. Wish all would take this seriously but some do not. I am afraid things will get out of hand if people get too complacent or things open up too quickly or if people are haphazard and risk others intentionally or unintentionally just to make a political point or they don't have the fortitude to help mitigate risk. For some I fear it won't hit home until somebody directly in their family becomes hospitalized and fights for their life. It may be inconvenient both economically and socially but I sure would appreciate if everyone would take this seriously. I will do my part to protect myself, my family and those I don't know or will ever meet. I believe and think bucking science and the experts could be very harmful and just extend this even longer. Please be safe.

3. Too hard to pick out one or two games to play. I have a very nice collection. It could vary from week to week or one month to the next. Feel fortunate I have a variety to play at home.

4. TP supply is ok.
