Thats pretty cool! Stern doesn't make you send back the old cabinet like they do the playfields? If that's the case, these cabinets have to be costing them a pretty penny.

It's crazy where Stern tries to save money. These cabinets are a prime example. There is no way they are offsetting the savings of these cabinet by sending out replacement ones.

Good luck with your sale!

I hope more people file a claim. The more people that file the better the chance they will finally correct the cabinet splitting, etc. (Hot, active threads going on right now on Pinside on this.)

I would rather have had a mint cabinet. However I was able to restore this one to mint condition with Williams brackets as suggested in Pinside.

Finally they sent the cabinet after months and I no longer need.

Hope it finds a good home.
Kinda crazy they would rather send out new cabinets, than spend the extra few bucks per game to upgrade the brackets and ensure the glue and joinery was sufficient.

Thing is, even with a new cabinet, if it's not built any different than your current cracked cabinet, it's still a gamble.

Agree, crazy they warranty cabinets but have been unwilling to solve root cause.

However someone will be happy with a new cabinet!

What are you asking? I assume the tire kickers are based on price?

I got this free; but what you're offering me for it isn't enough -- seems a bit off, no?

I guess you could put some price on the time it took to swap, maybe, but the first post makes it sound like you didn't even do that?
