Tech tip: yellow rubber bumper sleeve fitment
Tech tip: yellow rubber bumper sleeve fitment
After talking to one of my pinball friends and mentioning that I have 2 of these big yellow rubbers on my game (Truck Stop). He said "wow those are a pain to install". Here's a trick I have used putting a seal on a carburetor accelerator pump shaft. Use a ball point pen cap or part of the pen (like I did tonight) to guide the piece over flat top of the post. Of course a little lube helps as well
This trick saves a ton of time and frustration.

That's better than my method... "push real hard on the top and swear when the screw head jabs my finger." ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
